Ted is a consummate professional. He does great quality work, he is very fair in price, he is organized, and on top of all that he's a really nice guy! Ted has done a wide variety of projects on my house, both interior and exterior (one of the projects: patio shade, paver patio and decomposed granite patio area pictured below). Ted was able to help me out with my AC unit. He came on short notice, did a great job diagnosing the problem and then fixing it. What seemed like a leak in the AC unit ended up just being a clogged drain from the pan underneath the AC. The water made it down through one of the return vents and was dripping on from our upstairs ceiling down on our carpet. Ted flushed the pipes which made the water drain and we no longer have a problem. All this for a very reasonable price. Ted is great resource to have to help troubleshoot issues with. If he doesn't have the answer, he will refer you to a person that does. By the way, did I mention that he's is the nicest guy around? - Peter Jakubicki
In a world where people are often trying to take advantage of you (especially in the trades), Ted is a breath of fresh air. His prices are more than fair and the quality of his work is outstanding. Besides that, he is genuinely a nice guy! My wife and I appreciate his depth of knowledge (he helped remodel our kitchen and is in the process of finishing our bathroom remodel), and his willingness to come over and help us with a simple plumbing problem.
Here’s an idea of how much he’s saved us. We needed our tub plumbing to be rebuilt (approximately 2 hours). He charged us less than half of what a discount plumber would have charged. Ted has been a godsend! We moved into the area a year ago and didn't have anyone to call for help with our new (but very in need of updating) house. He is truly a 'jack of all trades'. We've used him for everything from building out closet organizers to installing and repairing ceiling fans to building furniture. And if there is ever anything he can't do or doesn't feel comfortable with, he has someone he can call.
